Fatal Wedding Big Reveal Day 10: The Cake

Mmmm, I love cake! Of course, I want it to be chocolate with buttercream frosting, but I digress. Here are the choices for Sam & Nick's wedding cake! There is one choice from each of the flower collections you viewed earlier.

Wedding Cake 1: Orchid

Wedding Cake 2: Calla Lilly

Wedding Cake 3: Tulip

And the winner was....

NUMBER 1! Y'all went all orchid all the way!

Comment on the cake to be entered to win a $25 gift card to Godiva Chocolates!

Each cake is lovely, but I fell for the orchid at first glance. Love the continuity of the orchid theme!

At least we're consistent....

All of the cakes are gorgeous and any of them would be fabulous for what will invariably be the (said with a lockjaw) social event of the Spring calendar.

It's almost the 5th!!

Glad you all love the cake. I love the orchid theme throughout, too. Y'all did good (Sam says so)!

My power came back on around 10:30 yesterday morning. We are grateful to be back in the light!

Can't wait until Monday when you can see all your hard work brought together in the wedding story!

These cakes put my wedding cake in the dust. LOL. Mine was white with purple violets. If I ever got married again the orchid cake would be it for me.

I really liked the design of #2, but with the orchid flowers rather than calla's. I was kinda thinking pick the cake and the flowers would be adapted to match the flower theme.

I got good information from your post. The main thing to keep in mind when planning your menu is to think about what YOU like. It's your day, therefore, you should eat what you enjoy.

So happy on the cake, but bummed I couldn't make a comment yesterday. Lost cable and internet yesterday. Even had issues with Droid. Great decision and I think this shows that a wedding can definitely be planned by committee.
