Fatal Wedding Reveal, Day 3: Flowers

Ronlyn and Aly came up with some amazing choices for the flowers. They are so beautiful, I wanted to go back and redo my own wedding! Here were the three different collections you had to choose from:

Collection 1

Groom & Groomsmen

Bridesmaids

Bride

Ceremony

Reception Centerpieces

Collection 2

Groom/Groomsmen

Bridesmaids

Bride

Ceremony

Reception Centerpieces

Collection 3

Groom/Groomsmen

Bridesmaids

Bride

Ceremony

Reception Centerpieces

And the winner was.... NUMBER 2! I'll give away a $25 gift certificate to 1-800-FLOWERS today, so make sure you comment by midnight (EDT) tonight. Those who comment today will also be entered into the drawing for two grand prizes: a Nook or Kindle (or a $100 gift card to either B&N or Amazon if you already have a device) for one winner AND advance copies of Fatal Books for the life of the series for a second winner. Everyone who comments during the two weeks of reveals will be entered for the grand prize drawing on Sept. 5, the day FATAL DESTINY is released.

Number 2 is nice bt personally I wold have went with 1. Mainly becase Aubergine Calla Lillies where my bouquet of choice on my wedding day! Although my bridesmaids had white.

Ronlyn & Aly mst have had a great time choosing everything. It'd be like planning your wedding all over again!

In love callas. My mother had a huge, tall bouquet of callas for her wedding and I always thought it so romantic and elegant.

Somehow we're witnessing a revival of this flower and I like it.

So number 1 will get my vote :)

I love Ronlyn & Aly's choice. I would have gone with number 2 as well, but 1 was a close second.

As pretty as calla lillies and tulips are, there is something exotic and unique about orchids. Great choice!

Perfect, I love orchids. Really starting to feel like a wedding. Wish I were attending!

I don't remember which collection I picked. I'm fascinated by how you're going to work all these details in. Can't wait to read the end result!

Just a reminder that Aly and Ronlyn provided the choices, but you all picked the winners! :-)

Yes, you guys are the ones that made the decisions here. Aly and I were having a knock down drag out fight about these because our opinions....differed. Slightly. ;-)

I'm striking out here. So far none of the choices I voted for have won. That's ok they were all very very nice though. The bride's bouquet is gorgeous!

LOL....I don't think I've picked a winner yet. I absolutely love lillies, so I know I picked #1.

Thanks again Aly and Ronlyn for pulling together the great choices.

The flowers are all so pretty.

I love all the options, so I don't know which I would have chosen! This is so much fun...planning a wedding without actually worrying how to pay for it! ;)

I love Choice #2. Orchids are such lovely and exquisite flowers.

Such fun watching as the big event comes together. The ultimate fun will be on "wedding day" when we get the full effect and learn Sam and Nick's thoughts.

Love choice 2! They are just beautiful. They look very similar to the ones I had at my wedding!

The flowers were hard for me, I wanted to pick a little bit of each selection, cause I didn't love each particular selection, but I loved little pieces of each. I picked #1, honestly cause I loved the brides bouquet and the centerpieces.

I liked number 2 but number 3 was my favorite because I love tulips.

I think I chose #2 on the original vote....I don't remember what I did last night let alone months ago! We made similar table center pieces with hydrangeas for my Goddaughter's wedding.

Oooh, I like collection three :) The ceremony flowers are just sooo cute!

My favourite is #2 as well :) I never realized the importance of such details but in this case flowers are important. Their shape and colours sends out its own message. From #2 collection, the words simple and vibrant pop out to me.

I like most of #2... but I like the bride's flowers in #3 better. I wasn't around for the first round of voting, but it would have been a hard choice!

Oh I missed day 2 :(. Never mind. Personally would have liked a mix of set one and two.

The orchids are gorgeous and elegant, but my favorites (especially for a spring wedding) have to be the tulips. Elegant yet simple, heartly yet fragile, timeless yet sohpisticated...kind of like Sam. Sorry ladies, the Callas are nice, but they scream funeral flowers for me.

But my "let's elope" flowers were the $9.99 special at the grocery store. I obviously have limited experience in coming up with thematic flowers.

Oh man! I love #1 but #2 is beautiful too. I'm totally not disappointed in the choices so far!

Thanks for the fun Marie!

The collection #2 was my second choice, but I love them too. I think my choice was collection #3, I love those bold, beautiful purplish colors in them :)

It's funny how I had such strong feelings toward the selections when we were voting and can't remember now. All the flow selections are great. Can I bring home one of the centerpieces - Please.

Beautiful choices. I love the colors of #1, but #2 is really pretty and probably the best choice.

Oh, I wanted to ask, do you rent out Ronlyn & Aly. When my son gets married I could use their help. Looks like a 2 wedding deal because of where they live and I will get the Maine wedding.

Heather said...

You know...you can't really go wrong with any of the choices for all the selections. But I'm pretty sure I selected #3 on this one...I just like the clean lines of the arrangements more.

But again...all are beautiful.

P.S. I'm not reading the sneak peak...I want the WHOLE thing!!

It's probably wise to not read the teaser chapter. It was like a punch in the solar plexus to read. I'm counting the days until the fifth, just to get some closure! But I'm a bit of a geek that way.

Great choices---- although when it comes down to it, are their bad flowers? Wait, I'm in the wedding industry and I can say that yes there are! :)

Kara C said...

So, #2 was my least favorite. But, if Sam likes them, I'll have my girl's back.

Dru said...

I'm loving the choices.

Two is lovely, but I would have chosen tulips--I LOVE those :) Great choices, all!

Ours opinions did not differ, Howe. You were just wrong :)

And Howe, Donna wants us for her son's wedding! What do you think of that? LOL!
